Thanks Johnathan. You guys said he was an older bird. The other two are doing well. The poor guys tolerate my DD carying them around without complaint.

Yes, he has feathered feet....very few feathers, but some. His previous owner kept him in a tiny pen with six other chickens, so his feet are not in the best of shape, but he and his girls have some feathers on their feet.
