Faverolles Thread

Hi Jonathan. How's the hatching going?

Dad shut down his incubator this week. I'm not sure how many salmons he has out.
My whites are laying very well but no fertility. Dad has a real nice male at home I'm gonna try to borrow.

How about the jerseys

I have only got 3 eggs out of my giant hen. The rooster doesn't seem too interested in her either. I'm not sure if I'm going to try to get more or just get rid of them. They sure do eat a lot.

Glad the hatching went well good luck with the whites I am hoping to hatch a few from Dick in early june or late may depends on what the landlord says about having some hens.

When are you going to Dick's?

Got myself a cabinet finally. Just put 90 eggs in!

That is awesome Cindy!! Not totally sure yet probably during my exam week when it works for him I will let you know to so you can come down and we can visit. Maybe I could get a dozen from you and a dozen from him or a few ron patterson line eggs as well. Hows hatching going up there?

Hatching has been slow because I only had the 3 small Brinseas. I gave Dick some eggs 3 weeks ago and Laura in ME volunteered to set some in her sportsman for me too.

I can give you some from all 3 pens. Then you'll have some variety!

Jonathan if you would be willing to look at my 7 week old and give an idea if he would be good or not I would part with him. I just don't want to sell him if he isn't any good.

Sfaverolles if this young cockerel is any good I would be willing to sell him. I live up by Fort Wayne. I purchased my birds from Jonathans dad back in Dec.

Ooops didn't read all the posts. If Ron doesn't have one. Check them out first and if they don't I can have this one looked at for you but he is young.
