Faverolles Thread

LOL I'll do my best, but unfortunately I don't have ANY offspring from him. I'm going to pair him up with a salmon girl later this summer and see if his fertility issues are cleared up...I keep hoping it's not permanent...adverse drug reaction...never give your birds Baytril...it's a great drug, but both birds I've given it to have been infertile ever since...

Wow. Thanks for the tip on Baytril. Germaine got that when he had sinusitis, and I think some of the "unplanned" chicks are from him. So hopefully Duncan will be able to produce. He is lovely!

( I wish Germaine had such nice manners... I believe he must be a direct descendant of the bird called Fractious that Dick mentioned; as soon as he was healthy he started attacking us again.)

I am new to Faverolles, just getting started. I love the breed they are so curious, calm, and beautiful. I currently have 17 (3 months old). I really would love to learn all I can about them and show them some day

I really enjoy salmon faverolles, however am getting frustrated because they seem so hard to find. I am just looking for a rooster to replace mine, and would like another trio so I don't run into this again but not having any luck. I am even willing to drive if any can help me out. I live in Northern Indiana
