if you are looking at them face on and it is on the left side it is their crop. they are little 'piggies' when they are young and it is noticeable at that stage. if they are acting normal then i wouldn't worry about it much. check them again in the morning and if it has gone down it is more than likely their crop was full from eating and nothing serious just like the others said.
It sounds like a full crop, except when you say 'balloony'. Do you mean with air? Or just firmly round? One of my chicks blew up like a balloon the other day. Not sure why, but it is definitely air. He's mainly inflated along his stomache, chest and thighs. The only thing I can find that is similar to it is what happens to humans, Subcutaneous Emphysema. It has to do with a leak in the air system and they get air trapped beneath the skin. I think yours will be alright, but if it sounds like the same as my chick, I heard that someone who had a turkey do the same thing had to 'deflate' their chick daily for a week, but I haven't tried this myself. I'm afraid of infection. It was also recommended that you massage the area and give them the vinegar in their water that New To Farming suggested.
Good luck with you chick
