Tell me about it!

My favorite rooster has double spurs, but he's great in every other way!

If it's a small flaw, I just try to breed it out in the next generation. I'm pretty picky about toes though. /:

Exactly. I was really tempted to keep her anyway, but no.....

I am really falling in love with this breed. My girls are 8 weeks old and they are getting fat (or fluffy). The lighter chick will come to you for some scratching. She is the sweetest thing. The other is more interested in food.

We had planned on just keeping one (originally none), but now we are keeping both of them and both brabanters. We have too many chickens lol!

Does anyone have pics of what good feather coloring looks like and foot feathering. If not does anyone know where I could look up some pics of it.

Thanks:D

Thanks, yeah, I liked her too, so much so that I kept her for a long time and she was destined for the breeding pen....until I noticed she's missing a toenail!!

They really show beautifully.... Lovely girls Jeanine...I too like the lighter with lacing, thou the one you had at Monroe this year that had the smooth, *really smooth* light coloration was divine. eliz:)
