Faverolles Thread

I just tried to email Dick probably going to call him today or tomorrow to see if we could carpool and I could help him with his show string. Do you know if he is still going? I really want to go just a long drive or expensive flight. I will see if my Dad has any reason to go to Inndy during that weekend and see if I could go along.

Henry

Let me know if you talk to him

Will do the number I have for him was wrong. I emailed Cindy to see if she has heard from him and to see if I could get his number.

For those who have been trying to contact Dick, his computer was down the last time I stopped by to see him. He had a lot going on so he probably just hasn't had time to get it fixed or replaced. I did ask him if he were going to Crossroads and at that time he wasn't sure because of gas prices.

Henry I do have his number. I'll look for it later this evening and email it to you.

Do faverolles lay young? My two girls are really getting red combs. They are about 4 months old. My leghorns and one of my Bo are also starting to turn red. They haven't squatted yet but this seems young.

My last batch we are 6 months or older before I got eggs.

Most of mine lay at about 5-5 1/2 months. I had a couple that didn't start until 6 - 6 1/2 months. 4 months is about the right time they should start to darken a bit, in preparation for laying in another month or two.
