I am not sure i dont think so. There were several Roo's to choose from and they kept " pushing" me towards him - i might see why now! LOL My original choice was a different one.
trust me i dont put up with that - he understands - thank you for the support!

Exactly. This has even started happening with our beloved Duncan. The funny thing is that my DS is the one that has handled him the most, has used him several times for showmanship, etc, in fact, last year right before fair (3 days before showmanship) DS broke his arm so he had to use a bird that would be calm and sweet on the table, so he used Duncan:

The little fart only jumps at me and my DH.

He has a home for life with us though, so we'll just figure out how to work around it.

I don't typically put up with a bunch of garbage from my roos.

He is a hasndsome lil lad! I am with you i dont put up with it either. I only worry that i wouldnt be able to find another rooster. I guess i am soooo spolied with my cochin rooster- calm just laid back sweet guy - very good with the hens - they respect him and it all works out -

Oh my gosh! I can't believe I forgot to add that the LF pullet of Tamsen Polley's that won Ch. Continental was also Reserve Large Fowl of show!!!!!
