Absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful Kassandra. please send me an order list if you have time before the holidays start.
Fav males in general should be very docile. My LF Blks are the most docile but my salmons are usually very nice. Rupert walks fast after me some times but goes away the minute I point my finger at him. Sometimes I read things out here and just scream! I don't want ANY bird I own to be afraid of me or running to the back of the pen when I come near it and I especially don't ever want to read what you must do to your male birds to make them that way! Of any breed! Please, no more disgusting suggestions. Writings of that nature make the old senior breeder man crazy!
I wouldn't test those waters any further, I'm being a sweetie right now...
Leisha, as we both know it happens.. May not agree, but judging is so very subjective. Pvt me who the judges were.
Congrats Jeanine I'm glad you had a good show and great news that a fav went res LF.
Is this what you mean by "red"?
If so have I got some bargains for you! Just send me a LARGE shipping box from Horizon.
I am finally being able to look at some of my younguns and see similar things. I DO indeed have a good look alike for Cannabis. I also have a full sister to that pullet that is also going to be that extreme type. However, she's dark as the ace of spades. BUT I'm keeping her.
Daphne's two btm cross pullets are just way too nice and cute. My Arthur sons are nothing less than DYNAMIC. Broad backs, richer in color (FINALLY) great combs good toes. I have a trio out Clarissa by Rupert. Interesting. I really like them. So they are all looking rather nice on the overall whole.
Those that are going to Indy - have fun. Just watch the birds around you. Usually from very large shows comes sickness that you don't want to bring home. That's the main reason you will hear of seasoned breeders bringing birds and selling them at all costs. Even sometimes wringing necks to avoid the possibility.
Chickonthehill - sooooo what did happen with the pullet?

So do I, so we will be insignificant together. LOL I think there was more birds the last time. I was in Columbus one time where there was over 12,000 birds. My daughter Steph was showing then and won Ch. RCCL with a partridge wyandotte. It was a huge trophy

Exactly. This has even started happening with our beloved Duncan. The funny thing is that my DS is the one that has handled him the most, has used him several times for showmanship, etc, in fact, last year right before fair (3 days before showmanship) DS broke his arm so he had to use a bird that would be calm and sweet on the table, so he used Duncan:
He has a home for life with us though, so we'll just figure out how to work around it.
I don't typically put up with a bunch of garbage from my roos.
Hey, I know that bird LOL
Yep!
And I suppose I should add that he's never actually made contact with me, he just sorta hops toward me, if I stare him down and walk toward him, he backs right down, and then I can walk right up to him and pick him up. He's still one of my very favorites!
