Hello to all, I have skimmed over about half of the pages on this thread, and WOW!!! What great birds. I just hatched 3 from some eggs I got from a co-worker. I have seen pictures of chicks on this thread and have a question about color. All 3 are yellow but one has a dark spot on it's back. In some of the pics I've seen, there are some spots on some of these chicks as well. My question is... Is this spot indicative of gender. Might I have 2 hens and a roo?? Any input would be great!
