Alright, I have a bone to pick with everyone who's responded to me in this thread....

Why didnt you warn me that Fav chicks are THE most adorable chicks on the planet?!

I mean really, that kind of cute could be weaponized! I've had baby chicks in the past, but none of them can hold a candle to these little guys!

My hatch has ended with 5 bundles of fluff that are shamelessly stealing my heart .

LOL! I believe the Faverolles just get better age. They are truely very calm & peaceful poultry.

Putting another call out for donations for the Faverolles Western National (you'll probably hear the same thing a few more times from me until the show)

The Western National is going to be held the third weekend in April at the Pacific Northwest Poultry Association's NW National Show at the Skamania County Fairgrounds in Stevenson, Washington. We cannot do a raffle at our club table, BUT we can group items together to be included in the silent auction, with a limit of 5 groups. Example: a bottles of wine, a set of wine classes, and a cheese board. Or whatever else anyone would like to donate, we will group items together.

Also, if you would like to make a monetary donation for a specific award, or a general donation to be used for awards at the discretion of the Executive Board, we would REALLY appreciate it!! Thank you so very much!!

I had to get in on the Fav page...I fell in love with this breed when I saw them for the first time back in Oct at a show..I bought a pair back in Dec. ( Sammy and Faye ). Sammy the roo is my baby..loves to be cuddled and will fall asleep in my arms. He is beautiful in my eyes.




Faye is more standoffish but I still love her dearly.




.Well I now have two babies from my pair..born Jan 14th

I love love love the fluffly little cheeks!

well, i guess hatching season has officially begun on the favs! i have a 3 week old pullet that has been the sweetest to the 3 other chicks that hatched since she did. they all cuddle around her like she's their moma! she's going to be a beautiful moma someday!
