I've got some Easter Eggers that are blue with gold lacing (no clue where that combination comes from) and I'm hoping to breed them with a blue Cochin and see what happens. I'd love to have those little cheekies and beards with fuzzy feet.

This was a picture of one of our Welsummer X White Silkie chicks...
(Our naughty Welsummer roo LOVED the white bearded silkies!)

Now this is "them" almost grown up. They are THE softest chickens I've had to date...and that goes for my show quality, pure breed varieties! You can't tell in the picture, but they have fully feathered feet and 5 toes each.

This is an OE I hatched a month ago...the dad is a Blue Copper Marans, the mom is a Lavender Ameraucana...

This is Vern. His dad is a Giant Black Cochin, and his mom is a SLW. I also had Ethel, his half sister, who passed away this week.
Vern has been in a really hard molt for about a month now and really doesn't look like his usual handsome self.
(The buff girl behind him is his daughter with a BO hen)

This is Daryl and one of his sisters. Their parents are Vern & Ethel.

This is nosy Daryl and two more of his sisters. I also have their other sister, Violet, who is black with a purple sheen to her feathers. I just don't seem to have any pictures of Violet, she is very shy.
