Asking what my favorite breed of chicken is like asking me which is my favorite child. They are all unique and beautiful in their own way. BUT if I HAD to choose it would be the largest, most imposing chicken breeds.
Jersey Giants,
Brahma,
Langshans,
English Orpingtons,
Bielefelder,
Lemon Cuckoo Niederrheiner
Liege Fighter,
Sanjak Longcrowers and
the larger Shamo type games.
I can go on, but I also like some of the smaller chickens.

To be totally honest, I love them all and cannot commit to a single breed.
God was good when he provided 5 rural acres for us.

I envy those who can pick a breed and stick with it.
Do you have pictures of your Lemon Cuckoo Niederrheiner? They are on my "Chickens wanted list"!

I'm afraid not. I lost much of my flock to predators after hurricane Ian damaged my coops. I am basically starting from scratch. Incubating eggs now.
I ordered 15 from Murray Mcmurray to be delivered in July. There is some info about them on the website. They are about the same as Bielefelders but lemon cuckoo.
I will be glad to post pictures after they arrive.
