One of my favorite hens passed away a little while ago because an egg got stuck in her...
And we had to put her out of her suffering.
She was a Buff Brahma.

This is Sid... I call him Sid the squid. He likes to challenge me every once in a while and he makes me laugh. The other day my husband opened up the kennel door where the baby chicks are and Sid decided that he was going to attack the door Hes crazy.

Here's another memory that I have where Squatch ninja kicked me. This was during his hormonal stage. Everything was perfectly normal and just all of a sudden he kicked me. I almost fell down, he's a big cockerel. When he stands he's past my knees.

I chased him and grabbed him. He never did it again.

I used to have some barred rocks that would chase people. But were too scared to really attack!
They were really just big wimps.

Here's Eve my olive egger. We lost her a few months back from reproductive issues. She was a chicken that loved to hang out with me. She would sit on the back of my chair or stand on my arm and just hang out. My husband called her Evil Eve because she was the one who would always pick on the newcomers. She would lay beautiful eggs!
