I am so glad you posted these. I have some LF cochins in my bator now. I am so excited to have a good girl like your Mable, what a face! I didn't realize they have such sweet looks in their faces. I can hardly wait to see mine!

Oh bantie, you bird is so pretty. I've also wondered about those bantam brahmas'. I can see them being a sweeter bantam also...like the cochins.

Yes, the bantam brahma is one of the sweetest of the breeds I've raised in the past, and I have to say the cochins are right up there with them as far as lovable and sweet too. But one thing to remember is that all chickens will be wild if not handled plenty (and don't forget the treats of course

), even the sweetest known breeds will be wild if not handled regularly. Just remeber to be a big part of thier life from the begining with lots of handling and treats, then you should have buddies for life.

I only keep banties so I can't speak for full size-ers but my favs are seramas and oegb's. They are fun to watch and fiesty compared to other bantams.

Here's a pic of my bantam girl, Baily. She really likes to talk to me when I go out.
And, my Blue Ameraucana..she's older now than this pic.. she is more red, larger pea comb, and she is a more dark blue, like the top of her head here and the side of her neck feathers.

I love all mine,3 RIRs,6 RSls,4Barreds, 3 Buff Orps. My main squeeze is a Cinnamon Queen RSL which is a RIR henX SL Wyandotte. Another favorite was a one of my BOs until she jumped up on my shoulder and turned to look at her and got a face full of fluffy butt.
