Carol: Joy to the world.

Song: The Christmas Song (Meery Christmas To You) by Nat King Cole.

or
The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year by Johnny Mathis.

I think I'll just admit myself to an old-age home right now!!! Am I the only one who likes John Rutter's music, and The Cambridge Singers, a capella? As in, stand still and hold onto the kitchen counter when they do "Gabriel's Message" without accompaniment?

Where's that smilie with the beard and wobbly cane?

No, you are not the only one that loves John Rutter, especially "Gabriel's Message". I have to admit it hadn't come to mind, but it's an amazing rendition.

I guess it's because I listen to several particular Christmas CD's all year long, so they come into my head often.

On a non-Chrismtas note, this morning's CMT video was Jason Aldean "She's Country". Wow oh wow. FIVE (oops, FOUR) pounding guitars! [Almost as good as "Santa Baby"!]

I love O Holy Night, What Child is This, and Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming.
I have only heard Sting's version of Gabriel's Message on the radio and love that too. I've been singing that one in church since I was a kid!

FIVE pounding guitars!

Adding that to the list of phrases I thought I'd never see posted on the BYC...

Or maybe they were ukelele's, I'm not sure really... All those string instruments look alike, and I've been told my eyesight is failing.
