Although I love all of the colors, mottled is one of my favorites, it's so beautiful! Calico's are also so pretty!

I love cochins but I have bantams . I've been trying to get more colors. Currently have 2 black hens, 1 red hen, and recently hatched 4 this summer. Unfortunately 3 are cockerels and one is a frizzle.

Ideal hatchery carries a wide assortment of colors.

Those 4 were from hatching eggs on ebay. Ordered 6 and hatched 4. Not bad for shipped eggs. My overall flock is mixed with large and bantams mix not just cochins. Last time I counted I think I was already at 50.

Calico Cochins are lovely, but all that white gets so dirty round these parts. I love my mottled Bantam Cochins. They're pretty.
