This is so hard, I love all my animals BUT if I have to pick just one it would be ............ dogs
I have had one dog or another since I was 6.

to all my Animals. SSSHHH but Mommy loves you all equally.

I could never love without a dog by my side. In the past few years, we have had fancy rats, and they are awesome pets (except they only live 2 years)!

For over 50 years it was dogs but now one of my old girls has had a stroke and the recovery care is wearing me down. So, now I think its chickens. They are fun, decent companions and the emotional investment isn't so heavy.
