If you know True Grit it's just a remake. They didn't stray from the story just different actors. I liked it as much or maybe more then the original.

Cool! I love John Way e but I’m not that crazy about it, though I don’t think any actor is as good as him in those movies. He just has like a thing about him, his movies are the only older movies I can watch and not think about the actors and enjoy the movie as if it were real, you know? I’ll ask my dad and we’ll try it out!
