Lite Brite, Tinker Toys, Playdoh Fun Factory, and VIEW MASTER!

The ViewMaster and a few sets of reels could keep a kid busy on a 3-hour cartrip to granny's.

We didn't need no steenkin' DVD player in the car. We learned to read captions and used our imaginations.

those bouncy ball things with the handle! I mean the really big bouncy ones!

GI Joe with kungfu grip - I wasn't into barbies and my cousins always had GIJ.

and every year my mom gave us a tree ornament or two.. so when we moved out, we'd have enough ornaments to fill our own tree. It worked!

One year, and I don't know what posessed my mother to buy these.. she got me and my sister matching PJs that had a target covering the chest.. it came with plastic balls wrapped with velcro....... needless to say, my male cousins had a blast with them....... the balls disappeared fast let me tell ya!
