My favorite thing is when they are separated and one finds something and then all the others come and chase the others away from it it's so funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved it when my broody found a small green caterpillar and gave it to one of her chicks. The chick took off caterpillar in its beak with the rest of the chicks following in a mad race to see who could grab the tasty treat. This is Stella and her foster chicks 2 Cuckoo Marens and 3 Welsummers. Stella is my avatar sitting on wooden eggs awaiting the chicks I had ordered for her to brood. She is an exceptional broody hen.

I love how when I pick up my Light Brahma she talks back to me for the longest! Not little clucks, but screeches!! She gets jealous if I pick up anyone else..

And how my bantam yelled at a bee when she was broody and it came too close to the nest. Got rite in the bee's "face" and hollered at it!!

I absolutely love calling, "here biiiiiirds!" and watch them come sprinting to me.

Mine love to be called as well! And they sing right back to be! I sing a silly nonsense "chick, chickie, chicken" song! And they come racing out of the coop or to the fence of the run! Love my girls!!!
