I am told by my daughter that these aren't ravens, they are rooks, but they're both brilliant.

I love their call too, and the way they strut around.

this is my favorite. It is a black capped chickadee, and i think it is super beautiful. It is the state bird of Maine.

I have lots of favorites. My top ones would have to be the Kiwi, Crows, Great Blue Heron, King Vultures (any vulture), Crested Auklets, Kakapos, and Secretary Birds (the head of one in my avatar). Also, Saw-Whet and Barred owls.

My favorite birds are chickadees, mockingbirds, and the eastern blue bird. Only seen 4 of them in my life.

Yes, Secretary Birds are super cool. I saw one at a raptor conservancy in the UK and I was transfixed. Maybe one day I will see one in the wild in Africa.

But I really cannot pick one favorite wild bird. My favorite is the bird that I am watching at the moment.

Any Corvid is amazing, even though those smart crows can be trouble makers. I love the mating calls of the wood peckers. I am really lucky to live along the migratory path of the Sandhill Crane. Some of them even stop by.

That crane is beautiful! The only birds I see near me are ducks (in my pool), finches, doves, blue jays, etc. And crows trying to attack hawks. Cranes are amazing birds!

That is very beautiful. I love it!
I do kinda like ravens myself too, but my favourite would have to be blackbirds. I love the chattering that comes from the bushes in the morning.
