favus??

Vent gleet can be treated with an antifungal cream such as Nustock from the feedstore (contains sulfur, an antifungal) or mycostatin cream (yes, the stuff for yeast infections.) Sour crop is what you are describing with a full squishy crop that is not emptying by morning. Nystatin liquid (by prescription) or Monistat suppositories cut into thirds are sometimes used to treat it. Online you can buy Medistatin the same drug as Nystatin used in pigeons without a prescription. It would probaably work better than the Monistat. Favus is treated by using the antifungal drug Lotrimin on it. It is contagious to you and your flock so wear gloves.
