Fearless Hawk

Probably a Coopers or Sharp shinned, they're both forest type hawks capable of flying at high speed in close quarters. They look very similar, the Cooper is a bit larger & I think has a rounded, banded tail where as the sharp shinned has a squared tail. I'm betting on the Cooper since the sharp shinned apparently summers in northern climates, at least here in California. Just think of the tale your bird will be able to tell in the hen house tonight. ;o)
