Feather color changing!

I know feathers can change abit, whether it's just a couple random (small) white spots, or fading abit is common in 6+ year old chickens. Something I've seen this with my one of my Australorps a few years back.
I didn't know that Australorps fade too. Do they turn grey? Is it just their body, or is it hackles too?

Another question: If i have a rooster with green sheen, and the hens that id breed him to don’t have any, would i get chicks with a sheen? Also, i could breed siblings to siblings, just not offspring to parents, right?
You could get green sheen. And it doesn’t matter what you breed together and their relations, just know what inbreeding does.
It means that whatever genes your birds have are increased and more often homozygous and enhanced.
