Feather/fur loss around beak and eyes?

I checked them both over for any signs of lice. None whatsoever. Vents are super clean, nothing visible of course either. But these two have this hair loss around their face! Is this normal? I feel like such a newb, but I can't find anything about it and not all look this way. I would say, these are my two biggest as well aside from the Australorps. Very healthy, alert chicks so I'm puzzled.

Well does that mean the other 10 aren't growing as well? LOL Is it just because these are the largest, and growing quicker than the others?

I think it looks normal for maturing chicks / pullets. The areas that are balding / loosing feathers is the part of the face that will become a brighter red as they mature.

All chickens mature at a different rate some faster than others even if they are all the same breed. Roosters obviously grow faster than hens.
