Feather loss

My hens are 10 weeks old is it normal for them to be lossing their feathers. This may sound like a silly question but I am new to this. I know that they will loss the pintail feathers for the more perminant ones it just seems like there have been alot of feathers flying around latley.

Sorry for not using technical terms but like I said I am new to this.

Yes, they will re-feather several times before getting their adult plummage. At that age, it's just part of the growth process.

I was wondering this too...my 9 week old pullets were losing them..
