Feather malfunction help

A few months ago, during heavy breeding season, my white duck started having feather breakdown on her wings. I thought it was from over mating and separated her from the males, but things have not improved. Mating season is less intense which is why they’re back together. This isn’t molting is it? Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I think that's molting. If you can look close, you'd probably see pin feathers.

Upping their protein a bit helps with feather growth.

In fact, looks like there are pin feathers.
