[Cha Cha Chicken]

My ameraucana pullet (from privett) keeps picking neck and down feathers off of my show birds-

and I have a show coming up in march, so I cant have them looking all........... bleh, so does anyone have an Idea of what to do with her?? any advice helps!

Only thing I can think of is protein or salt may be needed in her diet. Thats all I know; when I bumped up to a 20% protein feed the feather picking stopped with mine; I sometimes give them salmon or some meat since I feed Flockraiser and that seems to satisfy that urge better than anything if they can't get out and free range. Good luck, hopefully someone will be along with some other advice!

I have a little Ameraucana that was prone to feather picking her sisters. I began feeding her an ounce of canned tuna every other day, and it really seemed to help.
