Most have normal air cells, but three have huge ones. Do I need to increase humidity? It’s been at 50.

Are they shipped? Humidity isn’t the issue, that is a ‘saddled’ air cell and usually indicates shipping trauma. The whole batch has been through something stressful so even the normal looking ones are more liable to hatching issues/deformity/quitting. The hatching success doesn’t correlate with air cell condition, those wonky eggs can still hatch and your normal ones might die in shell. Be ready for a lousy hatch, 25-50% plus 10% or so mutants (hopefully better but prepare now for the worst!). If they aren’t shipped they’ve still been through the mill! It wasn’t anything you did or didn’t do, and there is nothing to fix or help anything so don’t feel guilty or second guess yourself, but be ready for a sad hatch, sorry!

They are shipped - that explains it! I let them sit at room temp for a day before incubating - was there a way to see the saddled air cell prior to incubating? This is only my third time and the first two were not shipped.

I hope I don’t get mutants that I have to cull. Crossing fingers and toes. Appreciate your response!!
