5-6 week old chicks, non insulated coop. Put them outside for the first time today and seemed comfortable in 43 degrees and sunny. Can I start (in a few more short days outside) leaving them outside at night? Lows are 29-35 ish. Highs 45-60 right now.

Dilemma- 2 chicks were pecked badly and are missing most of their back feathers (was a 2 day deal, culled the chick that did it).

Are the featherless back chicks also okay in these temps? Or too cold? They were fluffed up a little more than the others but still active and enjoying their first day outside.
Thanks!

How badly picked are the featherless ones? Any photos?

The others should be fine as long as they have a draft free coop and have been acclimated to the temperatures (which is sounds like you're working on right now).
