Feather sexing- not sure if possible

5 and 6 day old broody hatched chicks, 4 EE and 1 barnyard mix. Not sure what parents are, so not sure if feather sexing is possible- woman I got the eggs from has EE as well and not sure of breeds. But if anyone wants to try, thanks (am thinking the grey one is a boy for sure- again only if feather sexing is possible)

I was hoping #1 was a pullet, it is so pretty almost like a rust color.

Just to double check (or maybe a prayer) this is #1, first pic I took but they were fully cooperative so I took a different one. Maybe?! A pullet or an undecided?

I would hope that she is correct because that's three pullets and only two cockrels. Pretty good if you ask me.

Yes, that is good odds. I do know that. We had lost 2, 1 3 days before hatch date (I think momma kicked it out) and then 1 hatched but didn't make it through the night.

I just really like the rusty one I might be able to convince DH to keep him. OR just keep him through the winter and be like "What, a boy? Are you sure?" when he asks. lol
