This is the closest I could find on the internet...
The worm looked like a long, skinny maggot. And the feather shaft was cracked similar to the first pic below.
The avian vets out here in Missouri don't know how to properly handle birds.
I might have to take her out of state for proper care, but she is old and I don't want to add more stress to her... But I just might have to if the other things fail to work.
