The pullet sliced the vine bounding the other pullet's legs and shoved her in the pit. She cowered against a wall, trembling as the Nightmare broke the bars one by one.

She turned to the rooster "Do they have a killing stratagy?"

The hen laughed and the pullet tugged LillyFeather away from the tree, moving her close to the pit. The Nightmare broke enough bars to get out and slowly walked towards the trembling pullet, its long, ugly head held high.

A cockerel tripped her and hauled her to the edge of the pit, dangling her inside while keeping a tight grip on her legs.

"When there are more than one of them and the enemy's are very strong, they will work together."
