I agree with Möbius. She's just talking to you. I'm wondering why she's covered? Is it night time? If she were sitting on a nest of eggs, it could be a Broody hen sound???

she likes to try to stick her head out the top of her cage. She's five so she doesn't lay any eggs anymore.
