I have a BO x RIR that is 2 weeks old and barely has any feathering except some light wing feathering... This common in either of the breeds?

My BO's feathered out slower than the rest. The BO roo was the last to crow and grew a bit slower too. I have no idea about RIR's. [IMG]

I have RIR crosses (production reds) and BO's. Both the BO's and the RIR crosses, have feathered slower, to the point I have posted pics before asking the same thing on the Production reds, lol. They were 8 weeks old almost and still missing some facing feathers when the other were fully feathered for weeks. They caught up. [IMG]

I have three 3 week old BO's right now. The two hens have body feathers but none on the neck or head. From age comparisons, I can see that they didnt feather as fast as my first batch.

The one that I'm almost positive is a Roo, has very little body feathers, no real noticeable tail feathers.
