Featherless chickens - can they make it in colder weather?

I want to adopt chickens from an industrial poultry house - they are selling chickens right now. As it's the worst type of the house - where they keep the hens in tiny cages all the time -

Maybe a hen saddle or something like that would help? Like a little chicken jacket? Or maybe that’s silly ...

I have baby flannel hen saddles that are great in winter.

Tried to give them the scrambled eggs today, but they didn't touch it so far. I suppose it will take some time, they are really not used to anything else but the feed mix.

Yeah, they an be leery of new stuff.....maybe sprinkle some feed on top of the eggs.

I saw one hen pecking on it, so they are slowly getting into it. Sprinkling it with a feed is a good idea, thanks!

Canned mackerel packed in water is recommended by someone here with a plethora of good nutrition experience.

Oh yeah, that's what I meant. I read somewhere it's a good source of protein for the chickens and that it can be included in the chick's diet. I haven't realized the second meaning of quark.
