Alright I have this hen that looks a bit too bald. Before giving away several chickens (for those who don’t know, when we bought the house there was already a coop and a big space with an awful lot of hens and 3 roosters), there was a rooster that found this one especially ahem attractive, and they were also too many, so this poor chicken got bullied (and bullied). She behaves normally, eats and drinks well, etc, she just looks bald. Will she get feathers back? Should I give her anything special? (Ok I made a sort of meme for this one, but I’ll also post higher quality images) Thanks guys you’re the best

It looks to me to be a combination of moulting and mating damage.
All those spiky bits should turn into feathers.
Do you still have the rooster? If so you might consider housing him seperately for a while if he is trying to mate with the hen in the pictures and/or any others that are moulting.
In theory, moulting hens need a boost in protein to feed the feather regrowth.
My next question is, is the hen in the picture still laying eggs?
If she is still layinng eggs then I would certainly consider offering the hen extra protein. There are feeds with higher than average protein content but a couple of easy ways to give her a protein boost, especially if she is a fussy eater, or has gone off her regular feed is to make her scrambled eggs, or tinned oily fish such as cooked sardines, or tinned haddock which is usaully cheap and easy to find.
Half a handfull of any of the above two or three times a week will help.

Oh wow thank you guys! I’ll definitely enter her in the contest, it sounds fun! <3
I don’t have that rooster anymore. I’ll try to give her more proteins, thanks again!

Really hard molt, most of my chickens looked like this, this year.

Now that I know what this is, omg it’s so funny! The contest is gold!
The birds going through these hard molts are very uncomfortable. Sometimes they isolate themselves and walk very awkwardly.
Because you are new to this, try to avoid handling them at all until their feathers come back in fully.

She looks uncomfortable! Thanks for the advise, I’ll be careful. This one is a bit shy with humans, so I can’t get very close to her anyway.
