This was our Indian blue pied peacock before we rehomed him... Prince Azule! (I miss that bird.... )

We couldn't keep him with our chickens, he kept getting in with them, and even if we did let him roam around, he could've gotten hurt on the chicken netting, or if he had flown over to the neighbor's yard, let's just say, he may not have come back...... Our neighbors only raise for meat and eggs, (Not that I am prejudiced about that farming method), but once their job is done, "off with their heads", and the peacock was probably getting on his nerves.

So we had to make the right choice in rehoming him, we love him, and we wanted to do what was best.

Update: Because there are so many gorgeous photos, I have decided there will also be 4th and 5th place. There will also be an other poultry category for the ducks, turkeys, pheasants, and peacocks with a 3rd, 2nd, and 1st place

Booty () the Narragansett turkey poult. His name is Booty because he had a somewhat prolapsed vent from all of his friends picking on him. It was how we remembered which one was which because they all looked the same so they couldn’t be named (except him). His name kind of stuck so that is what we call him now!View attachment 2809003
