Oo close one I'm glad they all survived if that happens again maybe keep the styrofoam but put a bunch of towels all wrapped around the bator that what I did and all my eggs survived too

Ok! The styrofoam came with it so it fits it snuggly. I have some old "chicken towels" that I can use.

First candling done for mine as of last night! I have 4 clear, 5 blood rings, and 5 that just kinda look iffy, but the remaining 15 shipped eggs are developing fine! That's 9 silkied BBS Cochin bantams and 6 smooth Chocolate / Chocolate Cuckoo Cochin bantams! 2 of the 5 from my own birds are developing fine, too, and the remaining 3 are younger so I didn't look at them last night.

So far!

I saw the craziest thing last night. I could see the chicks feet and toes! As they kicked I could see the individual toes. I saw toes on egg 1 And egg 9.
