Feathers - How do you dispose of them.

What should I do with the many feathers that are in the coop and run. I put the poo on the compost pile, but feathers... ?

As big as my barn is there is no way to sort out stray feathers. It all goes to the compost pile.

Joe, if you start collecting them all now and glue them together, you can have a Big Bird costume in time for Halloween!

i have kept some of the nicer ones for quills, though the duck ones seem to work best for that. the chicken ones suffice, though. most of it, though, yes, is just compost.
