Feathers - muscovy ducklings

In Muscovy ducklings - it it said that the female start showing feathers earlier, is it really so? One of my duckling is starting to have small feathers on the tail and next to the wing and chest. Does it mean anything about its gender? The other one only has a few small sprouts on the tail - Not that visible actually.

As that article states, in the example with Cricket, whilst these are good indicators, they can also be misleading. Cricket showed every sign of being male, but turned out to be female.

Agree My one Muscovy drake I was sure was female maybe wishful thinking on my part . What has always worked for me is to wait and see once drakes and females are around 4 weeks old drakes keep going in growth females not so much.
