Feathers

I have been meaning to post this question for awhile...I was wondering if anyone collects their chickens feathers. And if so, what do you do with them? Some feathers I find in my yard and coop are so absolutely beautiful. I was hoping to repurpose them for something, jewelry maybe...
For the feathers that aren't so nice looking I put in the compost ...Thank you for being a great group! I'm new to chicken keeping and learning so much from BYC!

Know what you mean, have random feathers laying around I found in the yard that are too pretty to throw away. Have some of the long colorful ones in a little glass vase on the desk.
