this is the themometer that came with the bator

the hydrometer that i got from walmart...if i'm reading correctly the humidity is 38%, so is the high/low ok or do i need to try to readjust them? The temps are reading pretty close to each other...so the temp is good right?

the temp went a littel wacky cause i opened the bator to get a good pic...what's your thoughts?

these are the eggs i'm fixing to set once the bator is good to go!
i only use the diggy in my bator and i usally hold my temp at 99 for heat and hum i like to stay around 60 but some people whuols say 45 or so for frist 18 days than go up to 60 or 70 so if u can get it to hold aruond that u are good to go

Ok so I have both plugs out and water in the bottom of the bator. Put water in it last night with the hydro, took out the plugs this morning.

So I need those little numbers 40-50%, the big number between those little ones? The temp hasn't had any variations on either themometer, so am I good there? What else can I do to get the little numbers where I want them for the humidity?

Thanks!

I have a LONG way to catch up on everything....but my 3rd incubator is officially at 4 days now...and I know its my group from hell and back between the crushed packages, delayed shipping thanks to the storm, and more including blood spots, and many floating air sacs....all in my first ever home made incubator....

I candled this morning

TWO....

thats it.

and even they look faint for development!! I wish I had bought another LG instead. I literally sat and cried next to the incubator this morning.

It may not be your incubator, but the shipped eggs were pretty roughed up

Ok so I need to not worry about the little numbers? I just need to watch the big number? Ok easy enough, those little numbers have hardly moved at all, I was getting a little worried trying to figure out how to get them better levels.

Gap: I'm so sorry for your eggs, I will take responsibility on my part of being a novice at shipping, but the po needs to be at blame too. I've learned a lot on other threads and from other people about shipping, I've asked a lot of questions listening to everyone's opinions. I am going to take their suggestions and hopefully have a better time at it next time around. I won't have as many eggs to set like I thought because of this weather!

I will get to collect two more days then I will have to save some aside for another big order I've gotten for this week. Much luck to all that is hatching the fluffy butts
