Hey folks! Man the last 24 hrs have been soooooooooo busy around here! My daughter is in Girl Scouts and we had our "thinkingday celebration" today. Our country was egypt and man did those girls have a blast!! We won for best display, so I'm glad that they walked away with something. I haven't been out to the coop yet to see if we have any babes under Alice. I'm so anxious to get out there to see, my daugther is making me crazy

. My bator/eggs are doing good, good temp and humidity.


Well I'm off to get caught up on the other threads that I've missed while I was gone this morning. So happy to hear of everyone's peeps a hatchin

Awesome!!! I want them!! Give them to me! LOL BCMs and OEs are both on my list of wants!!! Along with every color of silkie, polish, and a ton of frizzles! I'll get there some day.

Are you SURE they are all quiters?Or allclear? Maybe its just too early to tell.
I always candle day 10 to make sure.They should be over half or closer to 3/4 dark then Easy to tell lthen

I have 2 LOs out now .dont even know where the second came from as one was zipped but didnt see another zipped only a tiny pin hole in one ..maybe him.?.. and the zipped one is still working on it.
I cant LOOK..........The last out is now leaning on the zipping one .Hope it doesnt smother it.

I'M HOME!! ...& I have a star crack PIP! Come on babies!!

Egg #4 has the star crack, Egg #5 has an internal pip (thanks to being able to candle from outside), still waiting on anything to happen in #6. I don't have high hopes for egg #1, and not really any hope for egg #7 which was my funky one. (There is no egg #2 or #3... those were super early quitters).

DH did not make us go watch the pine box racing stuff at the church. We did however, stop at the TSC... they had no chicks yet, so then he took me to our local farm store & we picked up 4 more chickies!! I got 2 light brahma, 1 RIR, and a little bantam chickmunk. So cute... now I have Mini (last batch silkies), my leghorn, isa brown, 2 brahma, RIR, and a "half pint" banty.




I don't have Mini in with this group. He's in a separate brooder. Once I know for sure that he's healthy, I'll put him with the others.

I don't think it would... the chick could probably push the other egg away if it needed to...
