My eggs went into lockdown today too! 17 Blue/Black Copper Marans (can't see in them so left them all in), 1 mixed bantam, and 8 of 12 shipped eggs (bantam Maran project).

I have 2 LOs out now .dont even know where the second came from as one was zipped but didnt see another zipped only a tiny pin hole in one ..maybe him.?.. and the zipped one is still working on it.
I cant LOOK..........The last out is now leaning on the zipping one .Hope it doesnt smother it.

Out of my 5 silkie eggs...
2 eggs have external pips now!!!

(Eggs #4 & #6!)

1 egg with an internal pip! (#5)

1 egg with "movement" in, but no pip yet. (#1... I have more hope for this one now that I saw it is still moving around in there! Yay.)

And... then there's the infamous egg #7 that seemed to only have 1/2 a live chick inside.... Doing nothing.

...

We have some friends coming over soon to play cards hang out with us. It will be a great distraction cuz I think it's going to be a long night!!

Are you SURE they are all quiters?Or allclear? Maybe its just too early to tell.
I always candle day 10 to make sure.They should be over half or  closer to 3/4 dark then Easy to tell lthen

Nothing happening under my broody, yet still hoping. If nothing by Monday then I will toss them. My bator eggs seems to be doing well. Temp is holding good, humidity is a little wonky. I'm trying to keep around 40ish but having a little trouble. I cant wait till I get my egg turner, ive got 42 eggs in right now and I try to turn as fast as I can and shut the lid so the temp doesn't go wild but I'm not very good at it. The temp might drop a degree or two but it still makes me nervous.

I'm so happy for everyone hearing of their great hatches. Loving the wonderful picture's.

When will you ship for the incubator? I will be mailing the turner Tuesday the latest . Hoping for Monday. Will have tracking.

I have my first born chick! I heard him chirping last night and this morning the egg had a small hole. This afternoon we went out to eat and after we got home I checked on the incubator it had just pushed out of the shell. It's little silkie hatched on day # 23. I have 5 other eggs with movement with candling, but no internal pips. If I have no internal pips by tomorrow, what do you suggest I do?
