OMG!!!!!! I am so Jealous LOL!!!!!!! I don't have even one yet!!!!!! But I am seriously so excited for you!!!!!!!

JP, I think I put mine in a few hours before yours...if I remember right didnt you set in the afternoon? I set at noon? and, I also had that temp spike early on....That could have done more bad than good! Have you really checked good? I almost missed the second one altogether and trying to get a pic of the pip is almost impossible in its angle.




second pip is #13 (my original guess, lol!!!) look about an inch away from the three up just a hair....

I had posted previously about a hatcher.... I am soooo glad I waited! On my local Craigslist (I am totally addicted to checking it multiple times per day) I found a gently used hova-bator and turner. To my great surprise it was a Genesis 1588 from last year only used once at a preschool.... For $60!! So excited to be able to do staggered hatches now

AWESOME! I am no where near ready to do staggered hatches! (but I kinda have to since I set Sultan and sizzle eggs last week!)

I've never done them before either, but my current eggs were set 3 days apart (the next set isn't due 'til Thursday). Hoping for good results, but at least in the future I will have my backup bator now!

Your right, I set mine at about 8 pm the same day. I may have pips and not know it, there is a couple of them that the big end is turned so that it is hard to see! Mine spiked a couple days ago to 104 a couple times. But I have seen them wiggle since I took them out of the turner. Theay are not wiggling like they were yesterday, I only saw 1 wiggle this morning, is that bad?

no, i hear wiggling isnt always even seen! and I am assuming they have been getting into position all night too! I bet you have pips by this afternoon!!!

omg, i have a huge "barnyard mix" of everything from Wheaten Ameracaunas to Marans to mutts

even I can't remember off the top of my head what all is in 'bator #1! Oh and SIZZLES!!! All the way from Washington state!!
