Thank you, its not easy to hold egg and phone in one hand and camera in the other! and this is a Swedish Flower Hen egg from Lazy Q in Micanopy, fl.....I have 19 birds from his flock amazing healty no split wing!

don't you just love the SFH? I have 10 of them about 8 wks old. Got mine from NY, the colors are gorgeous! Mine were strait run, & I lucked out, looks like 9 girls& 1 boy. And none with split wing, plus all of mine are crested

I'll know come the end of March. Come March 7th I'll be setting 6 eggs that I swapped for.

super quick question:

I got all my eggs now, and a sham-wow, steril wash cloths, and sponges to attempt to raise the humidity

but

my sizzle eggs are FILTHY! lots of poo on a few of them. Do I wash those?? or let them be?

I just set my eggs on Monday night 2/4! So exciting!

I have 10 bantam eggs on their way... Should be here today! Do people find that bantams sometimes hatch earlier than large fowl (other than Seramas, which I understand have a shorter incubation period)?

Thank you!!! Turns out I dont have enough holes in my turner for all my eggs, so I kept the dirtiest eggs out for now til I get my second incubator set up this weekend
