Yay!!

I'm a little worried about my eggs :( everything was going good until lockdown on Tuesday I couldn't get the humidity up past 54% then you all suggested the wash cloth... Thank you for that by the way. The humidity held for 2-3 hours before I went to bed, I woke up to the humidity at 74%!!!! I removed the wash cloth waited had remove some water, it didn't get to good temp until that evening. I woke up this morning to it in the 50's I was able to get it back up and it is holding they hatch tomorrow but I'm worried... No eggs wiggling and no cheeping. (I didn't see that last year too) do you think they will be fine? I'm worried they won't hatch and I spent alot of money on those darn eggs :)

The temperature, or the humidity was in the 50s this morning?

I just started my very first hatch today, and would like to join the hatch along! My should hatch around the 28th of This month!!!!!!! I put in 24 of my own eggs. I may buy some in the future, but didn't want to put any money into any on my first hatch!

The humidity the temp has been stable

I tend to think it will be ok (though I'm nowhere near as knowledgeable as some on here!). However, I know some people that lockdown at 55% for hatching and have had great hatch rates. Plus you caught it quick and have stabilized it. Don't throw the whole batch out the window just yet!

I am half a day ahead of you! I put in 32 eggs last night around 7 pm. I can't own roosters in the city so I have to buy eggs to hatch. I am lucky I found a local-ish lady selling RIR and brahmas. The brahmas went on strike though so I ended up with 2 brahma eggs, 15 RIR and 15 mixes. It was nice though, she didn't charge anything for the mix babies. I had asked for 40 eggs split between RIR and brahmas so I think she felt guilty that she only ended up with 18 pure bred eggs for me.

Should be interesting to see how things go!

Yes, It will be very interesting! All of mine will be mixed breed! I will buy pure breed in the future but gotta figure it out first lol!!!!! That was very nice of her! Maybe eventually I can get some pure breeds to hatch of my own. We were going to get a RIR rooster but my husband liked the way this one looked so we got him instead! Here is a pic of the daddy and some of my girls!
