FEB HATCH-ALONG THREAD ...COME JOIN US.... EVERYONE!

I need some opinions on this- I noticed this silkie chick's feathers look odd- do ya'll think this is a silkie frizzle? I looked @ several silkie frizzle chick photos & some look just like this one! If so I would be thrilled since I've wanted frizzles! This is one that DH got for me yesterday. She was supposed to be a partridge silkie...

This next 2 are porcelain d'unccle, if you notice the red on their chest- that is juice from thier 1st taste of blood orange from my tree- they all loved it!

Last but not least is my baby Sugar Peeps, she is so fluffy!!! It looks like she's gonna be lavender

Thank you... I will try to get the humidity up higher next hatch. I have all of the wells full of water and wet sponges in there and I still can't seem to get it up higher than 55%... I'll figure something out for next time...

I had 4 thermometers in there at the start, then at lockdown, just kept in the two thermometer/hygrometers... I am incubating the new eggs in the Genesis at work so my co-workers cn join in the fun, so I have to remember to bring my thermometers in!
Try next time some very wet wash rags dripping wet sort of spread out on the bottom of the bator in a spot you can add water thru a straw thru the vent hole onto it.. Use 2 and it works fine,.
Some one told me its NOT the depth of the water its the SURFACE area of water that brings up the humidity.

She looks just like my partridge did at that age. I am wondering if it just the "ugly" stage that they go through. Mine turned into regular feathering.

You did a great job on SP's feet. Look how cute she is!!!
