And it did it ALL BY IT 'S SELF!

See now I have discovered the secret to hatching successfully- don't even look in the direction of the bator

This is hatch #7 and I finally got a chick that came out all by it's self. And egg #2 has pipped about 2 hours ago. Nothing yet from #3, but I have HOPE AGAIN!

Ya'll have no idea how good it feels after all this time to have it go right! I was about to give up on the whole hatching process-

Today is day 10 I candled again a few minutes ago and most of them look like the second egg. So I don't have much hope for my silkies

I have heard the smaller eggs don't adjust to heat the same as the bigger eggs. I have I think 4 out Of 12 of my sizzle eggs developing.

first 3 to hatch 2 Swedish Flower Hens and one Easter Egger! I have more hatching now!

I'm sad my TSC doesn't have chicks yet oh well I guess that's a sign I don't need more lol

the dark area in the egg must just be the yolk or do you think they started to develope and died? I didn't see veining on any of them unless my flash light isn't bright enough

At 10 days in, they should look a lot darker inside than the 1st one. Out of those three you posted I would say the first was infertile for sure, the second could be a toss up. I had 3 I thought were nothing 2 days ago and I seen movement in them last night! That third one is definitely a go

Duck dynasty is my fav show on tv and they comeback on the day my first batch is due to hatch, so they have a big countdown on tv and fb for them, and with each day of the countdown I always think "x days til chickies!!" LOL!!!

Baby White Marans! They're camo'ed against the bedding! There are actually 5 in the brooder, and others are pipped (at least 6 if memory serves me right). Got BCM's too, but they're slower to zip.
